Your session is private: you alone, or you and your own staff, with one instructor. Nobody watches from a seat. Every licensed person in the room performs, within their own scope, and unlicensed staff learn the workflow around the procedure.
When your team trains together, they learn the same setup, the same steps and the same patient conversation, so the procedure runs the same way back at your practice.
The judgement this course teaches
Leukocyte rich or leukocyte poor is a question about neutrophils.
It's the most discussed choice in PRP preparation. It's also one of the least settled. Most of the argument runs on an assumption about what's in the tube. And that assumption turns out not to hold.
Rich or poor, taken as a binary. Providers pick a side and stay there, usually on the strength of one trial. And that trial's preparation was never fully characterized in the paper.
The 2021 RESTORE trial in JAMA found PRP no better than saline for knee osteoarthritis at twelve months. It used a leukocyte poor preparation. Reviewers have argued its platelet dose was lower than in the trials that came out positive. That's one explanation of several, which is the point.
Which white cells, and how many platelets are with them. The clinical concern about leukocytes is really a concern about neutrophils. They give off reactive oxygen species. They give off matrix metalloproteinases. And they give off inflammatory mediators, too.
Preparation itself changes the mix. It roughly doubles the lymphocyte ratio against whole blood. It roughly halves the neutrophil ratio. So most leukocyte rich PRP is lymphocyte predominant, not neutrophil dominant. A lot of providers are choosing against something that was never in their product in the amount they assumed.

What does the Advanced PRP Training course include?
This course offers in-depth instruction on advanced PRP processing, MSK diagnosis, patient selection, and ultrasound-guided injection techniques. Students will actively process PRP, practice guided injections, review case studies, and learn protocols used in real MSK clinical settings. You'll also receive templates, patient forms, and resources to support integration into your practice.
Who is this advanced PRP course designed for?
This training is ideal for licensed healthcare professionals, including MDs, DOs, NPs, PAs, and others, with experience in musculoskeletal injections, PRP, or similar therapies. A strong understanding of anatomy and prior procedural background is recommended.
Does the course involve hands-on skill development?
Yes. The course includes supervised hands-on training using ultrasound guidance, with practice on real patients and models. How much you perform depends on your license, the state and the patient's consent. Students refine their injection techniques and procedural flow in a controlled, educational setting.
How long is the Advanced PRP Training course?
There is no fixed length. The course is scoped to you: what you already do, what you want to add, and how many times you need to perform the procedure to be confident doing it on Monday. One day is common and some scopes take longer. The didactic, the videos, the written protocols and the consent forms are sent before you travel, so the time on site is spent with your hands on a patient rather than in a lecture.
Will I receive any documentation after completing this course?
Yes. All participants receive a certificate of completion after successfully finishing the course.
Is this course a substitute for medical licensing or credentialing?
No. This is a professional education course and does not replace licensure, board credentials, or authorization to perform procedures in clinical practice.
Can I really learn this in a day or a weekend?
No. We won't tell you that one day of training teaches you everything. That's not possible, and you'd find out the hard way. What a course gets you is enough confidence to start on staff, family and friends. And it gets you access to our clinicians for everything after that.
Will patients in my market actually pay cash for this?
The constraint is almost never the price. It's the consultation. A five minute visit isn't enough to work out what a patient needs. And a patient who doesn't understand what they're weighing doesn't buy it. So part of what we cover is how to build that conversation: what belongs in it, and what has to be in the chart afterwards.
What insurance do I need, and am I covered while I am touching a patient?
You're responsible for your own coverage. We don't provide it, arrange it or extend ours to you. And we won't tell you that you're covered, because we can't verify that for your carrier in your state. What we will do is get on the phone with you and help you work out exactly what to ask them.
What do I need to bring?
A current, unrestricted license, and a willingness to be corrected. If you already have a centrifuge and a kit you use, bring them. That way you train on your own equipment. Don't have them yet? We supply them on the day. And we can walk you through the vendor network afterwards.
What does it cost, and can I cancel?
Private training at one of our instructor locations starts at $5,000. Private training inside your own practice starts at $10,000, and travel and lodging are inside that figure. Both are starting points. So what moves the real number? The discipline and the instructor. How many of your people are in the room. And how much of the course is built just for you.
In-person training is refundable up to 30 days before the session. A 10 percent fee covers processing and office costs. A reschedule carries the same 10 percent fee. Online and self-paced courses are not refundable once you buy them.
