ABOUT ME
Dr. Jose Ortega, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist with years of experience in biologic joint treatments and non-surgical pain solutions. As a specialist in regenerative therapies, Dr. Ortega integrates orthopedic and biologic techniques in his practice.
He earned his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine and completed a sports medicine fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, specializing in arthroscopic shoulder and knee reconstruction. He is committed to education and innovation in regenerative medicine.
EXPERIENCE
Dr. Ortega has been active in minimally invasive and biologic orthopedic treatments, focusing on rotator cuff and instability repairs, knee ligament reconstruction, meniscal and cartilage injuries, and non-invasive arthritis management.
He is currently on staff at Palms West Hospital and the Palms Wellington Surgical Center. Dr. Ortega is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and holds dual board credentials in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine.
Active in orthopedic research, he has presented at national and international conferences. Fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Ortega is committed to mentoring the next generation of medical professionals through hands-on training, ensuring they gain the expertise to integrate regenerative therapies into their practice.

Regen Med Academy does not offer CMEs, credit hours or accreditation of any kind. What you receive is a Certificate of Completion. It records that you attended and performed the procedures under supervision. It is not a license, not a board certification, and it does not expand your scope of practice.
Coverage is yours to arrange
