ABOUT ME

As a specialist in spine and pain care, Dr. Raza focuses on helping patients improve function, reduce pain, and better understand their treatment options through a patient-centered approach.

He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and completed his fellowship in interventional spine and pain management through the Department of Neurosurgery at Swedish Providence Hospital – Swedish Neuroscience Institute in Seattle, Washington. Prior to fellowship, Dr. Raza served as Chief Neurology Resident at Larkin Community Hospital – Palm Springs Campus in Miami, Florida.

EXPERIENCE

Dr. Raza is highly trained in advanced interventional pain procedures, including epidural injections, medial branch blocks, radiofrequency ablation, neuromodulation, kyphoplasty, sacroiliac joint fusion, regenerative medicine procedures, and endoscopic spine techniques.

During his training, Dr. Raza gained experience treating NFL players, high-level athletes, and patients with traumatic brain injuries and concussions. He also trained through the Nova Southeastern University and HCA Eastside Hospital system in Miami, Florida, with additional residency and internship training at Detroit Medical Center/Wayne State University. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Ross University School of Medicine.

Dr. Raza has presented and published widely on neurological and spine disorders and is actively involved in leading professional organizations, including the American Society of Pain and Neuroscience and the American Academy of Neurology. His clinical philosophy emphasizes lifestyle-based care, patient education, and advanced interventional treatments to help patients improve quality of life.
