OVERVIEWS
About The Course
MasterMSK is the step by step program for students and clinicians who want to gain confidence in their sports
medicine skills without having to go back to school. It is designed to give the primary care
clinician competence and confidence in their musculoskeletal knowledge so they can deliver excellent
care to their patients.
Our Approach
We believe that mastering musculoskeletal therapy requires more than just learning theory. The “MasterMSK” course is structured to provide continuous learning with lifetime access to the course materials, so you can revisit concepts anytime to refresh your knowledge.
Anatomy:
Each module starts off with some anatomy… but only the clinically relevant kind! We understand you aren’t a musculoskeletal radiologist, but every clinician should have a basic understanding of anatomy. We deliver brief, yet highly relevant anatomy to help you deliver better care.
Physical Exams:
Physical exam manoeuvres are the foundation of a thorough musculoskeletal exam, but we understand they can sometimes get confusing. We teach the basic exam techniques for every main joint of the body to help you be able to tackle any complaint that comes to your clinic.
Differential Diagnosis:
Every joint has a dedicated module to the various pathology that can be found at that location. After going through these modules, you will be able to build robust differential diagnoses for any complaint.
What Will You Learn?
The course covers all of the body locations of the body including: shoulder, elbow, wrist/hand, spine, hips, knee, and ankle/foot. Each section has a module that focuses on the physical exam, and
another module that focuses on the pathology of that specific body area. Additionally, there are modules that focus on the basic principles of sports medicine, and a module covering injections.
In addition to that, the course covers many of the most common complaints that are seen in primary care clinics including:
- Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome,
- Acute low back pain,
- Tendinopathy 101,
- Osteoarthritis 101,
- Tennis and Golfer’s Elbow and many more.
